Over
the Thanksgiving Weekend, several LC reunions were held. The
Class of 1953 celebrated their 55th at
Ariana's Restaurant in North Wales.
The
Class of 1978
celebrated their 30th at Normandy Farms in Blue Bell.
Guest of honor was former faculty member, the
Most Reverend Michael J. Bransfield, now
Bishop of Wheeling-Charleston, WV.
A
special visit was made by retired Archbishop of Philadelphia,
Cardinal Anthony Bevilacqua, who spoke with
LC President, Jim Casey.
Our second group of inductees was honored recently:
Sr. M. Theresa Clare, OSF (Founding Principal
of LC); Ms. Nina Gilberti '72 (Emmy Award
Winner); Mr. Steve Probert (Faculty/Coach);
Mr. Noell Maerz '90 (posthumously) and the
undefeated football team of 1972.
Special
thanks to committee members: Lucille
Kramer Pritchard '66, Ellen Wiberley, Amy McAteer MacKay '91, Karen
Kardoley Maginnis '82, Rose Trotter Kraynak '81, Tim Quinn '95 and Joe
Denelsbeck, for their dedication to this wonderful event.
