Patroness

The Lansdale Catholic community wanted to take a moment today and remind you that October 1 is the Feast Day of Our Patroness, St. Therese of the Little Flower.

Since our founding as Little Flower High School of Lansdale in 1949, by Msgr. Joseph Schade and Sr. Theresa Clare, OSF, St. Therese has been our Patroness guiding our learning community through eight decades.

The Novena Rose prayer is included as part of our daily homeroom prayer and readings at the start of each school day.  During that time, we remember all our living and deceased alumni and benefactors, as well as our past and current families.

Mass is celebrated daily by our Director of School Ministry, Rev. John Schiele '85 in our Chapel of St. Therese.

Novena Prayer:
O Little Therese of the Child Jesus, please pick for me a rose from the heavenly gardens and send it to me as a message of love.

O Little Flower of Jesus, ask God today to grant the favors I now place with confidence in your hands...(silently mention specific requests)

St. Therese, help me to always believe as you did, in God's great love for me, so that I may imitate your "Little Way" each day.  Amen.

Prayer from The Sociey of the Little Flower, Darien, IL
