Enjoy reading about the accomplishments of fellow alumni.  Don't forget about signing up to help LC when you enroll in Target's Take Charge of Education Program.  You can participate no matter where you live in the US!  We've just received a check for the last half year totaling $313.00.  This donation is designated to our Msgr Schade Scholarship Fund benefiting those incoming eighth graders who scored high on our scholarship exam.

Mary Catherine Kinneman '04 and Liz Watto '04 finished their field hockey career by attending the Temple University Breakfast of Champions.  Each received outstanding recognition for their performance in athletics and also in academics.  Mary Catherine graduated with a BA in Accounting, Magnum Cum Laude and is currently working on a Masters in Finance.  Liz graduates this year with a BA. 
Pio Mandato '08 (Freshman at Shippensberg University) is competing this weekend at Millersville University, Track PSACS championship! Pio Mandato qualified for the PSACS Championship Meet in the 800 meter dash two weeks ago at the Annual Paul Kaiser Classic.
Lisa Strom'95 has earned her LPGA Tour Card for 2009, fully exempt, no more qualifiers, with a dazzling 12-under par over five-grueling rounds in 5 days to finish T7 out of the 150-plus Q-School finalists!  Lisa shot 73-66-72-68-69 and tied none other than Michelle Wie for 7th place
(Top 20 earned Full LPGA cards).

 

Robert J. Iannozzi, Jr. '94 has been honored in Pennsylvania 2008 Rising Stars. Only 2.5% of the total lawyers in Pennsylvania are listed in Rising Stars. Currently Bob is an associate at Dischell, Bartle, Yanoff & Dooley. He focuses his practice on real estate, land use, zoning, municipal and assessment law. In addition to maintaining his practice, Bob is involved in serving and representing several non-profit corporations including the Villanova Blue and White Scholarship Foundation and the Peak Center, as well as offering pro-bono services to clients in need.   He is also very active in local politics. He attributes all of his professional successes in large measure to the love, support and sacrifices his family has offered on his behalf over the years, particularly his father and mother.

Amelia Wood '08 recently received a scholarship from the Simon Youth Foundation, owners of the Montgomery and King of Prussia Malls.  She was presented with a check for $1,500 which will go towards her education this fall.  She was one of only four recipients. She is pictured here with Mendan Pool, a manager at the Montgomery Mall.

 

Matthew McShea (‘00) and Lauren Wood (‘01) happily announce their recent engagement. Lauren is currently employed as an Income Development Specialist with the American Cancer Society, and Matt is a Corporate Sales Manager with the Philadelphia 76ers. A July 2009 Wedding is planned.

Kathy O'Brien Murphy '78 is co-founder and CEO of Gray Consulting International Meetings and Incentives, headquartered in Philadelphia.  In September, the company was named one of the "Top 25" of the industry's largest and most influential full-service independent meeting and incentive travel management companies focused on the corporate market by Corporate Meetings & Incentives magazine.
