Kairos is a 4 day retreat offered three times- once in the summer, once in fall and once in the spring. This retreat is for seniors and it is an opportunity for them to enter into “Kairos”or “God’s time” to come to grow in love for God, self and others. The retreat is led by our school minister, Father Nordeman, many faculty and senior students who have already attended the retreat. Most of the senior class does participate in the Kairos retreat.
Freshman and Sophomore Metanoia Retreat-hosted by the Office for Catechetical Formation. Our students will join thousands of other students from other Archdiocesan High schools for a dynamic and unique retreat experience which will include internationally known speakers, music, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and much more.
Junior Retreat - The theme of this retreat is Christian Vocation. Father Stephen DeLacy, the vocation director for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia along with seminarians from Saint Charles Seminary and Sister Maryanne Lalonne, the Vocation Directress for the Sisters Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and married Catholic Couples offer inspiration and insight about their call from God to live out their vocation in life.
Senior Retreat - This retreat is a Christian Pilgrimage. Seniors will Travel to the Mother Church of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia The Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. They prepare for the retreat by gathering prayer intentions which they bring with them. They are given a reflective and historical tour of the Cathedral and are able to spend some time in private prayer and participate in the celebration of Mass at the main altar. The students conclude the day with a meal together and then return to LC from their pilgrimage. PLEASE NOTE: Students who attend the Kairos retreat are not required to attend the Senior Retreat.
