District XII Class AA Champs!

The LC Boys Team beat Cardinal O’Hara for the win. The LC Girls team were runner up to Archbishop Wood in District 12 Class AA competition. 

For LC, individual winners were Cody Kulick '21 (St. Jude) in the 200 Individual Medley; Tyler Arsuaga '18 (MMR) in the 100m butterfly; Cody Kulick, 500m free; Kieran O'Donnell '21 (St. Stanislaus/Mater Dei) 1m diving and Nick Picozzi '18 (Visitation BVM)in the 100m breaststroke. The 200m and 400m free relay team of Picozzi, Kulick, Kevin Gianoni '20 (St. Isidore) and Bryce U’Selis '20 (St. Isidore) also won and are automatic qualifiers for the PIAA State meet at Bucknell University later in March.

The Crusader Girls relay team of Hailey Gianoni '18 (St. Isidore), Mary Picozzi '20 (Visitation BVM), Sara Murphy '19 (Corpus Christi) and Brynne U’Selis '21 (St. Isidore)will also make the trip to Bucknell with their win in the 400m free relay.  The win was a come from behind victory as the anchor leg of LC left the blocks three body lengths behind the Bonner-Prendie foursome. Team captain Hailey Gianoni pulled from behind to seal the win.
