In an effort to follow the Next Generation Science Guidelines, we at Lansdale Catholic, have created a new and exciting competition. The LC STEM Warscompetition invites teams of 7th and 8th grade students to meet an engineering challenge and think both creatively and practically. At least one member of the team must be either a girl or boy. You may have 3-4 students per team. Only two teams per school are permitted.
Participation in a STEM competition allows students to use the engineering design process to solve a real world challenge. The LC STEM Wars competition encourages young scientists, engineers, and innovators. You are invited to send a videographer to record your students efforts. This clip might be a promotional tool for your school.
