BJ Hogan Named Athletic Director

Lansdale Catholic High School President Ms. Meghan Callen has announced the hiring of Mr. BJ Hogan as Director of Athletics.

Mr. Hogan has served as Director of Athletics at Cardinal O’Hara since August of 2017 and is Vice-Chairman of the Philadelphia Catholic League’s Board of Directors as well as a member of the PIAA District XII Committee. Hogan previously served as Director of Alumni Relations at COHS for two years. He was the Lions’ Varsity Football head coach for seven seasons and led the program to the PCL Blue Division title in 2016.

“Lansdale Catholic has a rich history in athletics, and I am thrilled to welcome BJ Hogan to the LC family. He brings experience, knowledge, and a true passion for Catholic education and the Philadelphia Catholic League. BJ’s accomplishments in high school athletics meet a standard of excellence that the community can continue to expect from LC moving forward. We are building a strong leadership team that will strive for the highest levels of success in academics, athletics, student life and advancement. I am incredibly proud that the announcement that Hogan is joining the LC team will kick-off a series of exciting news to come from 700 Lansdale Avenue,” said Callen.

Hogan graduated from Widener University in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations & Advertising. He will receive a Master’s Degree in Athletic Leadership from Albright College this fall. A 2001 graduate of Cardinal O’Hara, he competed in three sports and was team captain of the Lions’ 2000 PCL Championship football team.

BJ and his wife Stacee are the proud parents of Catherine (5) and Will (2). They are members of Corpus Christi Parish.

Lansdale Catholic High School is a secondary school of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. More than $35 million grants and scholarships for higher education were awarded to members of the Class of 2023. The school serves a student population of 600 that resides in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, 17 school districts and 28 parish communities.

Lansdale Catholic athletic teams captured Philadelphia Catholic League titles in girls’ basketball, girls’ tennis and girls’ cross country in 2022-23 as well as the PIAA 4A Girls’ Basketball Championship.
