Prayer Group
Thursday evening at 7:00 is the time for Prayer Group in our chapel. This group was formed by LC students who began to pray together after having attended one of our Kairos retreats. They were generously supported by our local parishes who afforded them the opportunity to pray for a number of years. During the 2015-2016 school year, they decided to move the group to LC.
Prayer Group lasts for one hour. During that time we have exposition and benediction of the Blessed Sacrament along with a reflection from the Bible, praise and worship music, time for silent reflection and the opportunity to receive God’s mercy in the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation(Confession).
All LC students and alumnae are invited to join us at any time.
"Prayer group is a time when we can isolate ourselves from all the craziness of life and refocus on our goals in the presence of Christ. Prayer group is a time to lift up your intentions knowing that you have the support of your peers and a constant reminder that you are not alone in your faith. It's the best hour of every week."
Colleen McFadden, Class of 2017
"Prayer group is something I look forward to every week. It is a time where myself and other LC students can come together to focus on the two most important things, our faith and our relationship with God. It's awesome because we all live very busy and stressful lives, but on Thursdays we forget all of that and join together as a group and grow stronger in our faith."
