St. Ignatius of Loyola Achievement Program Description 


Academic support program to assist students with documented learning differences.  Program focuses on accommodations for student support and not modifications of the curriculum.  Students are enrolled in a dedicated class period including a Schoology Course “Learning Strategies” and will receive 1 credit for the course.The focus of the program is also on teaching executive function skills including organization, time management and study skills through the curriculum.


Goals of the Program for Enrolled Students:


  • Provide a work space for students to study and work on assignments.
  • Facilitate extended time on tests and quizzes for students.
  • Support students advocating for themselves and meeting with teachers as needed.
  • Support Social Emotional Learning including social skills.
  • Support student involvement in athletics, clubs and activities.
  • Communicate with parents and teachers to ensure students are being supported.
