Tyler Grant Named Director of School Ministry

Lansdale Catholic High School is thrilled to announce the hiring of Mr. Tyler Grant, LC Class of 2016, as the new Director of School Ministry. Grant will join our beloved Father Dave O'Brien, who will continue to work at LC for 2-3 days a week. We could not be more excited to have both of these faithful leaders guiding our students together.

Grant returns to his home at LC on August 14. He comes to us from St. Maria Goretti Parish, where he has been working for the past two years as the Faith Formation and Liturgical Coordinator. Grant oversaw the St. Maria Goretti Youth Group and was the Sacristan for the church. He attended LaSalle University.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be back at Lansdale Catholic! There is just something about this school that makes it different from all of the others. The community, culture, and faith life that has been established here is something I hope to continue to grow. I am looking forward to giving back what I received from the school I love so much," said Grant.

Grant will begin his role on the same day that BJ Hogan begins as the Crusaders' new Athletic Director. Both the Athletic Office and the School Ministry Office border the school cafeteria, where students will have access to both of these key positions. “It is essential at this time in our school history that we are hiring not only great leaders with the qualifications to perform their jobs effectively, but also adults who can make meaningful connections with our students. The more individuals we can add to our team who can connect with, support, show care for, and challenge our students to be the best versions of themselves, the better. I have no doubt that Tyler will do all of those things." said Ms. Meghan Callen, LC President.

Many will recognize Grant around campus and the community, as he has served as an assistant boys' basketball coach for the Crusaders, has been an adult leader on LC Kairos retreats for the past 8 years, and is a current member of the Mater Dei CYO Board. Those who do not know Grant can meet him tomorrow night, August 7, at the LC Fall Sports Mass at 6:00 p.m. in the LC gymnasium. He will be in attendance, along with Father Dave, who will celebrate Mass for our fall student-athletes and their families. He also plans to attend and help at the LC FamilyFest event on August 25.

Welcome home, Tyler!
